Transgender people have varying levels of gender dysphoria. Some are stationed on the higher side and they\u2019re the ones who usually undergo such an undertaking. The study identified increased mortality and psychiatric hospitalization compared to the matched controls. The mortality was primarily due to completed suicides <\/strong>(19.1-fold greater than in control Swedes), but death due to neoplasm and cardiovascular disease was increased 2 to 2.5 times as well.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

I have a lot of trans-women friends and I don\u2019t know anyone who has died from the surgery itself<\/strong>. The caveats that you may have to consider are the possible scenarios that commonly happen after the surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are 2 types of life-changing surgeries<\/strong> that other trans women go through. The reason why I\u2019ve written \u201cother\u201d is that not all trans women are planning to undergo bottom surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n

MTF Transgender Top Surgery<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is what I\u2019ve personally gone through and one of the most important aspects of feminization surgeries (apart from facial feminization surgery) and I have no regrets about doing so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I underwent breast augmentation surgery<\/strong> back when I was 22 years old (2012). I\u2019m very happy with my decision. So much so that I\u2019m planning to go through another round again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bigger breasts are quite gratifying in terms of confidence and validation as a trans woman<\/strong>. There\u2019s just simply no amount of estrogen that could deliver the same results that a breast surgery would.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
