It does not equate to being a cross dresser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since this word applies to ALL of the transgender individuals, it\u2019s what\u2019s most commonly used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transsexual<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, <strong>the word transsexual<\/strong> is also an adjective. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, it only pertains to transgender individuals who are planning to undergo <a href=\"https:\/\/mytransgenderdate.com\/blog\/2020\/05\/what-to-expect-from-a-transgender-surgery\/\">gender reassignment surgery (GRS)<\/a>. She\/he is most probably <a href=\"https:\/\/mytransgenderdate.com\/blog\/2020\/05\/what-is-transgender-hormone-replacement-therapy\/\">undergoing hormone replacement therapy (HRT)<\/a>. This individual may have also <strong>undergone the top surgery<\/strong> (breast augmentation for transgender women and mastectomy for transgender men) as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, most <a class=\"ek-link\" href=\"https:\/\/mytransgenderdate.com\/blog\/2019\/08\/denying-that-i-am-a-pre-op-transgender-woman\/\">pre-op transsexual women<\/a> undergo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthline.com\/health\/orchiectomy-for-transgender-women\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">orchiectomy<\/a> (removal of the testes). It&#8217;s quite telling that she\u2019s planning to undergo the full transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, medications and surgeries are not only the determining factor if a transgender individual is a pre-op transsexual. In short, if a trans person WANTS to undergo <strong>the full bottom surgery<\/strong> (gender reassignment surgery), he\/she is a pre-op transsexual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Post-Op Transsexual<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a class=\"ek-link\" href=\"https:\/\/mytransgenderdate.com\/blog\/2019\/08\/denying-that-i-am-a-pre-op-transgender-woman\/\">post-op transsexual<\/a> is a transgender individual who has already undergone gender reassignment surgery. In laymen\u2019s terms, he\/she already turned his\/her pen*s or vagina into a vagina or pen*s and vice versa. Gender is an individual\u2019s self-expression. S*x only has to do with one thing and it\u2019s only a toss-up <strong>between a pen*s and a vagina<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Gender deals with <strong>a huge spectrum<\/strong> of an individual\u2019s expression; from his\/her choices of hairstyle, clothing, mannerisms, etc.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What term should I use to describe him\/her?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To be on the safe side, your best bet would be to use the term transgender. It is more inclusive and it\u2019s an umbrella term.
